- The campaign brings everyone together to protect each other and our society
- The campaign is about 12 concrete ways to help and protect each other: kids, teens, seniors, and adults.
- The actions are widely visible in different social media channels throughout 2023
Why would I join?
- By doing your #cybercivicduty you can teach cyber security skills and protect your people you care about, and the entire society
- You might learn new tips & tricks yourself too
- We cannot think that the government or enterprises can fend off cyber threats alone. Our society needs us all to know this stuff.
Who is the campaign for?
- Anyone who knows a kid, teen, senior or adult they want to stay safe online
- Organizations who want to show cyber social responsibility to their, customers and employees.
- Anyone who wants to learn more about protecting their privacy and safety online
- Anyone who wants to contribute to a safer society.
How do I participate ?
- Find someone whose security you care about – a kid, teen, senior or adult
- Choose the #cybercivicduty, or several, that you want to do
- Share the campaign on your preferred social media. Challenge your friends, family, and colleagues (even your employer!) to do their #cybercivicduty too.
Why are different companies involved in the campaign so visibly?
- Companies and other organizations want to demonstrate to their stakeholders their willingness to strengthen trust and safety in our society
- Organizations want to increase their employees’ skills and readiness to stay safe online on and off work.

Who is behind the campaign?
- The campaign is coordinated by CyberCoach
- Organisations supporting the campaign are, among many others, Netprofile, Microsoft. Aktia, DNA, Soste, POP Bank, Tietoevry, Alma Media, Futurice and Elisa.
- The campaign does not collect any funding from the participating organisations
